Spainish Morning - which was organised and run by Shirley Larkin (Spainish teacher) and Kathy Doherty (Hotel, Catering and Tourism teacher). It was organised for mid jannuary and an enjoyable breakfast was had by all - foods included Pan al ajo (garlic bread), tortilla espanola (Spainish omlette), Pan de tomate (tomato bread), Pan con chocolate (chocolate bread), Pan con Manchego (cheese), Pan con Chorizo (chorizo bread), Salchichon (salami) and cafe y te (fresh ground coffee and tea) - the Students loved the opportunity to taste a sample of ethnic cuisine and in the coming months the students will be sampling Italian, Mexican and Chinese cuisine. |
